Interview

She recently sat down for an interview with Digital Spy and spoke about her music, mohawk and the ‘Lady Gaga’ comparisons.

On the comparisons to Lady GaGa:
“I don’t really look like her, but I think people compare us because we’re both on the edge and we both like to be a bit freaky. We’re both a bit controversial and make people say, ‘What is she doing?’ I think it’s a compliment to be compared to her because she’s very good at what she does and she’s a writer too. Maybe we can work together one day? I’d love that.”
On her album sound/release date:
“Very uptempo, very electronic and very exciting. The way I sing is quite urban, but the beats are going to be club beats and there will definitely be elements of rock too. I want to release it this year! I really want to release it this year, but they’re telling me it’s going to be the beginning of 2010 and there’s going to be another single first.”
On her Mohawk:
“I’ve had it like this for three months. I saw this style in Tokyo a couple of years ago and thought ‘Nobody wears a Mohawk these days, so why don’t I try it?’ I comb it and make it flat before I go to sleep unless I’m feeling tired and lazy. And I have these hats that I can pull over it, but people are like ‘Why’s she wearing this massive hat?’ When I go to the gym people look at me like I’m some kind of conehead!”

Eva performed last night (29.05.2010) Silly Boy @ Planet Party Dome

Last night @ Planet Party Dome Eva performed her first single - Silly Boy. On their site, they wrote that Eva was going to perform her second single "Look But Don't Touch" (which features Jessica Sutta-ex PSD)
There is a chance that Eva performed both songs, but unfortunately i don't have that Look But Don't Touch video.

That's right! Today Eva revealed the name of her second single. It's called "Look But Don't Touch". After a year, her second single is finally coming out on 29.05.2010 when she will be performing at Planet Party Dome. Let's hope that after releasing this eagerly awaited song, her popularity will grow and soon is going to release her Album. This song leaked a couple of days ago. This is great song! If you are fan of Eva Simons Facebook Page, you had a chance to see a video on her wall. It's was titled "Afrojack @ Bliss Club Belgium", and Eva's comment was "What do you think about this track? :D". Then we could've only guess if this was going to be Eva's song. And now we know that it is "Afrojack Feat. Eva Simons - Take Over Control"

-According to this twit, the song is called "Wherever I Am", but when you listen to this song carefully you will hear "Wherever I Go". Maybe this is older version, and upgraded version has different name and chorus, but Eva keeps everything as secret, so we have to wait like always
